HOMMAGES – Alors que Mohamed Ali a rendu son dernier souffle ce samedi matin, les réseaux sociaux et les personnalités du monde n'ont pas tardu à saluer la mémoire du plus grand boxeur de l'histoire.
Avec un léger frémissement, à chaque fois que Mohamed Ali était hospitalisé, on redoutait le pire. Atteint de la maladie de Parkinson depuis 1984, "The Greatest" a fait un nouveau séjour à l'hôpital, le dernier, qui l'a vu succomber à des problèmes respiratoires, ce samedi matin à 74 ans.
Une fois sa disparition annoncée, le monde était sur le qui-vive pour lui rendre un dernier hommage après avoir tant marqué l'histoire de la boxe et du sport. Son aura inégalée a traversé les générations pour lui permettre de recevoir un au revoir digne de la marque indélébile qu'il aura laissé dans les mémoires. De George Foreman, contre qui il a livré un combat légendaire à Kinshasa le 30 octobre 1974, à Floyd Mayweather en passant par Paul Pogba, chacun y est allé de son petit message.
